          ☆  Lord Nataraja is a form of Shiva who is known as the Lord of Dance.

          ☆  In a single image, it combines Shiva's roles as a creator, preserver and a destroyer of the Universe.

           ☆ In India there are many types of dances. One of the most popular and oldest form of classical dance is Bharathanatyam.

           ☆ Bharathanatyam is a dance of Tamilnadu in Southern India.

           ☆  The word Bharathanatyam is derived from the Sanskrit language. Meaning: Bha means Emotion (Bhava), Ra means Music ( Raga), Ta means rhythm ( Taala) and Natyam means dance.

            ☆ It includes facial expressions and movements of body parts and expresses the feeling of the character in the dance.

             ☆ It includes all the mudras and aasanas from yoga which is shown in the form of dance.
